Note: since this post, we have redesigned the free trial experience.
The free trial of the Title IX Lawsuits Database is now available. As mentioned in our Tuesday announcement, this feature is available to registered users without a current or prior subscription who would like to benefit from some basic functions of the database and get a better idea of its scope.
To access the free trial, log in (or register first if you do not have an account) and click “get access.” You will be taken to a screen with the following option:
Simply click “Activate Free Trial,” and you will be granted instant access to basic database features for a period of fourteen days. That’s it – no need to enter a card or payment info. You will then be redirected to the main database page.
In the account details page, you can see data relevant to the free trial start and end dates (see the green box below):
Overall, the free trial will provide access to roughly 35% of the data and 50% of the features available in the full version. Above each main section (e.g., lawsuits, attorneys, courts, schools, etc.), you will see an automated tally of records included in the free trial relative to the full version. Upgrading to the full version – which can be done anytime – will provide the following:
- Access to over 100,000 pages of legal files
- Vastly enhanced lawsuit, attorney, judge, court, and school data
- Enhanced searching and sorting tools
- Access to All oral argument recordings
- The option to save lawsuits and research notes
- Full changelog access, allowing the option to see the most recent record updates
Please be aware that we may make adjustments to the free trial as we go along.
Thank you!
