To sustain and grow this platform, we need to expand our core staff with qualified individuals. Introducing Samay Taylor. She will be managing our social media, assisting with data entry, conducting research, and other assorted things.
Samay was raised in Puebla, Mexico, a region rich in culture and history. Her earlier employment included data entry and communication for attorneys within the family, and social media management at the University of Madero, Puebla, where she graduated with a focus in Marketing & Communication. She immigrated to the United States where she interned at YMCA of the Rockies, working in guest services and marketing positions. After an extended long-distance relationship, she moved to Texas, and we married in the spring of 2017.
She prepared a brief statement to introduce herself:
“I am glad to be part of this movement. I became interested in these topics when my husband and I were still dating, and he told me about all the work he was doing with the databases and his work as a teacher. Then we attended an event with FACE where I was able to listen to the stories of all the families who had gone through a son being wrongly accused and punished. I was touched by all their stories. It’s time for people to realize that men can be victims too, and equality should be for both men and women.”

Samay’s assistance will be critical in freeing up my time to maintain and expand our resources in other areas.
