Every month, we distribute a “Title IX Recap,” providing a highlight of the previous month’s litigation, advocacy, and other Title IX-related matters. As always, more information on any lawsuits by accused students or Title IX OCR resolutions will be found in our Accused Students Database and OCR Resolutions Database respectively.
Brief Statement About Recent Events
We hope everyone is taking reasonable precautions while also maintaining level-headedness regarding COVID-19. In addition to the elderly (the group most vulnerable to the disease), we are also concerned about the psychological impact increased isolation will have on those whose lives and educational futures are already disrupted by student conduct determinations. Although the recommended response to the pandemic is self-quarantine and isolation, physical isolation doesn’t have to mean emotional isolation. This is a great time to use internet or phone to remain connected to and check up on friends and family.
As a digital platform conducting 99% of its operations remotely, Title IX for All’s operations are not hindered by recent events. We will continue to deliver. Thank you, and stay safe.
