As of this posting, the below numbers are our current tallies of lawsuits and resolved investigations as tracked in our Title IX Lawsuits and OCR Resolutions databases.
“The male-accused student at the University of Illinois had text messages, Snapchats, photographs, witnesses, class attendance records, and more all backing up his side of the story. Even the female accuserโs own witnesses contradicted her claims, yet still the male student, referred to only as John Doe in court documents, was expelled.”
“Last month, the U.S. Department of Education said it planned to eliminate several questions from the nationwide data collection for the 2021-22 school year dealing with allegations of sexual assault and rape committed by educators and other K-12 staff.
“A major public university condemned one of its own former professors Monday after he said that many women are selected for engineering positions primarily on the basis of their gender.”
“Kevaughn Dingle, 22, said in the federal lawsuit that the school โrushed to judgmentโ because of factors including the ‘MeToo’ movement and a prior campus assault case.” This lawsuit, Dingle v. University of South Florida et al, and its critical files are in our Title IX Lawsuits Database.
“Last week, The Fix reported that in the nine months following the request, the Education Department has not handed over any relevant documents or really responded in any substantive way…”

“A generation of young men are disappearing from colleges โ a trend accelerated by the pandemic. In Arizona, the trend is most visible at Maricopa Community Colleges. Arizona State University, however, has been able to buck the trend so far with a 5% increase in male enrollment in the 2020-21 school year.”
