“[i]t makes little sense to lift the veil of pseudonymity thatโfor good reasonโwould otherwise cover these proceedings simply becauseย the universityย erred and left the accused with no redress other than a resort to federal litigation.” โฆ

Settlement: two female students suspended for making false allegations
Purdue was denied summary judgment earlier this year and has now settled. We’ve included this in our Title IX Lawsuits Database because the plaintiffs technically are claiming they suffered sex-biased discipline against them. A contributor to The Indiana Lawyer believes this is the first such lawsuit.
